Lorbumol gro-Aglakh in the Vivec, Guild of Fighters asks you to return 2,000 septims of debt money from Lirielle Stoine in Ald-ruhn, The Rat in the Pot.
If you talk with Percius Mercius, he will tell you that it is not Lirielle Stoine who owes the money, but her brother Ranus Stoine. Ranus was murdered. This is the same story that Lirielle will give you, though she knows that Ruran was killed in Mallapi, northeast of Gnaar Mok, where he went to seek his fortune.
If you confirm the quest with 2,000 gold to spare, you may give it to Lorbumol before going to Ald'ruhn, but if you do, Lirielle will be so glad the matter is settled that she won't even talk about Ruran or Mallapi.
